Job Summary
The Occupational Therapist evaluates, administers and directs the administration of therapeutic procedures utilized in rehabilitation med as prescribed by a referring physician; establishes goals of Occupational therapy, and re-assess patient's progress at regular timely interval, supporting findings with written documentation. Collaborates with inter-disciplinary team to improve patients' outcomes, while respecting patients privacy and rights.
Essential Functions
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree graduate of accredited OT program requiredMaster's Degree in Occupational Therapy preferred2-4 years experience in Occupational Therapy preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
In-depth understanding of therapeutic procedures and rehabilitation medicine to evaluate and administer effective treatments.Ability to assess patients’ conditions and establish appropriate occupational therapy goals.Strong skills in documenting patient progress and therapeutic outcomes accurately.Ability to work effectively with an inter-disciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.Knowledge of patient privacy regulations and a commitment to upholding patient rights.Expertise in various rehabilitation techniques and adaptive equipment.Ability to analyze patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams.Skill in identifying challenges and developing effective solutions for patient care.A caring attitude to provide support and encouragement to patients during their rehabilitation journey.Licenses and Certifications
OT - Occupational Therapist - Registered Valid State Specific OT license requiredBCLS - Basic Life Support Current American Heart Association BLS preferredINDRESPTHER
