Schedule: Full Time/Days
Responsible for Central King County
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for therapy evaluations, treatment planning, implementation, and discharge planning for inpatient hospital at home patients in the home setting in accordance with established policies while maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care. As a member of the multi-disciplinary team the therapist assumes responsibility for communication of patient-related issues with appropriate team members or other staff and participates in collection and evaluation of data necessary to assess appropriateness of care at home. The Occupational Therapist may also be assigned to orient staff and students. The Occupational Therapist works with the patient and family/caregivers in the home setting without direct supervision.

Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Therapy from an institution approved by the state board in collaboration with the American Occupational Therapy Association. upon hire: Washington Occupational Therapist License. within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. 1 year Therapy experience with adult geriatric and/or individuals with physical disabilities. This position requires that you obtain an NPI number within 30 days of starting in the position. The NPI process is free, and the application may take several weeks to process.
