Position Details:Schedule: Full-time, Monday through FridayContract: April 2025 - June 6th 2025 The Occupational Therapist will work between two schools, one Elementary school, and one Junior High School.The Occupational Therapist will support a 45-student caseload.Additional duties to be assigned.Role Overview:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will design, implement, and manage programs aimed at enhancing students’ ability to perform essential tasks in a school setting. Your work will focus on empowering students to improve, restore, and maintain functional abilities that are vital for their educational success.

Key Responsibilities:Create and implement occupational therapy programs aligned with the district's goals, vision, and procedures.Evaluate and monitor students with disabilities or impairments, providing customized interventions and planning for transitions.Collaborate with teachers and staff to build a shared understanding of students’ occupational performance strengths and needs.Assess students’ abilities, create detailed occupational profiles, and deliver comprehensive reports that guide evidence-based strategies.Provide targeted, research-driven interventions to support students’ participation and performance in the school environment.Recommend assistive technologies and adaptive equipment to promote independence and accessibility.Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.Requirements:Master’s Degree in Occupational TherapyActive Illinois Occupational Therapy LicensePrior experience in school-based occupational therapy is highly preferredWhy Choose AnthroMed Education?
