Nazareth Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is currently seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist. This position is for the primary Occupational Therapist position on the acute rehabilitation unit. The OT in this role performs evaluations and implements treatments for ARU patients in addition to other ARU specific tasks: weekly team conferences, discharge planning, equipment recommendations, etc. The OT hired for this position will also be oriented to at least one additional level of care within the department (acute care, TCU, and/or OP).

Patient care is delivered in accordance with patient practice guidelines upon physician referral.  Adheres to all hospital and department policies including but not limited to: infection control, performance improvement, billing procedures and scheduling. Assists in the supervision of Occupational Therapy Assistants, students, aides and volunteers. Independent in delivery of therapy care.

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.  Master's degree or Doctorate preferred. Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of PA.  BCLS certification required. Candidate must have strong communication, teamwork and time management skills. Experience preferred (preferably in acute rehab setting).
