**Overview** **Per Diem - PRN OT Hand Therapist** **HealthWorks Rehab and Fitness is seeking an Occupational Therapist in Morgantown WV** HealthWorks in Morgantown, WV is seeking a per diem or PRN occupational therapist for hand therapy patients, to work in conjunction with our current CHT. This is a per diem position with current Monday, Tuesday and Friday hours. We are estimating up to 20 hours to start which can grow into more steady hours. This is an upper extremity caseload for a hand therapy experienced OT consisting of hand, elbow and shoulder injuries. An ideal OT has previous upper extremity experience comfortable solo in an outpatient center. We need a dependable and flexible clinician able to cover at our Maple Drive location and look to expand hand therapy in satellite centers as our referrals grow. A Certified Hand Therapist is not required to be considered but a plus. Your interest in hands is a minimum as we do have support available. **Schedule:** Monday, Tuesday and Fridays to start **Benefits and Incentives** for our PRN and per diem clinicians will include access to our in-person and CEU accrediting courses. Shanel Green Sr. Regional Recruiter- Outpatient Division NovaCare Rehabilitation 610-223-5944 Cell ssgreen@selectmedical.com **Responsibilities** + Understand appropriate state Practice Act and adhere to the laws that govern how Occupational Therapists may practice and whom Occupational Therapists may supervise. + Develop objective patient goals and establish the type, frequency and duration of occupational therapy in collaboration with the referring physician. + Responsible for the supervision and delegation of occupational therapy care for each patient within the guidelines of state rules and federal regulations. + Demonstrate completion of patient care responsibilities and documentation requirements in an appropriate and timely manner. + Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs. + Participate in the design and implementation of new programs or procedures with the approval of the manager and referring physicians per HIPPA guidelines. + Enhances, develops, and expands relationships with referral sources and maintains a positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. + Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception). **Qualifications** + Must be a graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapy + National registration and state licensure or registration REQUIRED + Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification + Valid state driver’s license **Additional Data** _Select Medical is committed to having a workforce that reflects diversity at all levels and is an equal-opportunity employer.
