Select Physical Therapy is seeking a part time occupational hand therapist for our outpatient orthopedic clinic in Elk Grove, CA. Our clinics are fully equipped to provide care to patients ranging from post-surgical cases, to non-operative conditions, to work conditioning. Responsibilities Understand appropriate state practice acts and adhere to the laws which govern how occupational therapists may practice and whom occupational therapists may supervise. Complete and maintain all corporate & clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations. Evaluate, treat, and direct treatment for patients for whom occupational therapy is medically necessary and document this need clearly. Maintain open and respectful communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors at all times. Attend and/or participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager. Qualifications Must be a graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) accredited school of occupational therapyValid State Occupational Therapy License requiredCardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
