40Gundersen Health System is seeking a full-time inpatient Occupational Therapist to join our team! This is your opportunity to work in an acute inpatient setting at our La Crosse main hospital campus working with a wide range of patient acuities including pediatrics.
What You'll Do:
As an inpatient Occupational Therapist, you will evaluate and provide treatment for individuals with disabilities, injuries and disease using appropriate modalities and treatment techniques according to Wisconsin OT Standards of Practice. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in the areas of education and consultation regarding patient care needs, in accordance with the vision and mission of Gundersen Health System, to provide individualized intervention and education utilizing task analysis based on identified learning needs of the patient to ensure optimal patient care. Our current inpatient therapy team consists of 22 OTs, 23 PTs, 10 COTAs, 15 PTAs, 16 Rehabilitation Technicians, and 5 scheduling specialists.
What's Available:
Fulltime, 80 hours biweekly (1.0 FTE)
Monday – Friday day shifts, with 1 weekend a month and 2 holidays a year
Starting salary of $70,283 and up, salary is commensurate with your years of work experience
Applicable weekend differential and holiday pay
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
Wisconsin Occupational Therapy License
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
Ideal candidate will have prior pediatric OT experience including pediatric-sensory, feeding, and ADLs
