Occupational Therapist - Inpatient - Encinitas

This is a full time (30 hrs/week) position working varied days including weekends at Scripps Encinitas. (Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon) Bonus Eligible

The Occupational Therapist provides evaluation, assessment, prognosis, treatment and education to patients and clients through a continuum of care according to the therapist's respective licensure/registration/certification, Code of Ethics, Federal/State regulations, JCAHO/UMQC and Care Center policies and procedures. Perform competencies as outlined in Rehabilitation Services Competency Assessment tools and demonstrate age specific care as established for area and job title.

$4K New Hire Incentive and $3K Relocation if moving from 100 miles

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the followingcriteria must be met​

Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offerletter)​Must remain in original department/specialty​Must remain in original Job Title​Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis andmay result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically notedin your offer letter.

Required Qualifications:

· Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy

· Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the State of California

· Current BLS from the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

· One year of experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care hospital environment
