Job Title: Occupational Therapist Location: Goldsboro, NC Facility: Long-Term Care Facility Contract Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: February 3rd Pay: + Local: $48/hour + Travelers: $2,286/week Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (No holidays or weekends) Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at a long-term care facility in Goldsboro, NC. This is a 13-week contract position with a start date of February 3rd. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing therapeutic services to residents, helping them improve their daily living and working skills. Responsibilities: + Assess and evaluate residents' needs and develop individualized treatment plans. + Provide therapeutic interventions to improve residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being. + Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. + Document residents' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. + Educate residents and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies. Qualifications: + Valid Occupational Therapist license in North Carolina. + Previous experience in a long-term care setting preferred. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
