**Overview** **Position: Occupational Therapist - Ortho/Oncology/Lymphedema** **Location: Falmouth, ME** **Schedule: Per Diem** **Compensation: Starting at $45/hr (pending experience)** Our Saco Bay Physical Therapy outpatient orthopedic center in Falmouth is seeking an occupational therapist to serve our diverse patient population on a per diem basis.Strong candidates will have a passion for oncology, mentorship available! Outpatient, oncology, and lymphedema experience are a plus. Our ReVital team provides the necessary education and training for therapists invested in treating our diverse patient population, which must be completed within the first 6-12 months of employment. Contact **Melissa Thess, PT, CLT - ReVital Director of Talent & People Operations at MThess@selectmedical.com or 717.418.9635.** **Responsibilities** + Understand appropriate state practice acts and adhere to the laws which govern how occupational therapists may practice and whom occupational therapists may supervise. + Complete and maintain all corporate & clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations. + Evaluate, treat, and direct treatment for patients for whom occupational therapy is medically necessary and document this need clearly. + Maintain open and respectful communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors at all times. + Attend and/or participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager. **Qualifications** **Minimum Qualifications:** + Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Occupational Therapy + Current State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice + Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required **Preferred Qualifications:** + Cancer rehabilitation interest/experience + Lymphedema interest/experience + Outpatient experience **Additional Data** _Select Medical is committed to having a workforce that reflects diversity at all levels and is an equal-opportunity employer.
