Position: Part Time Occupational Therapist
Setting: Outpatient Orthopedics
Location: NovaCare Odenton, MD
Schedule: 10-15 hours/week. Evenings HIGHLY preferred
Compensation: Starting at $45/Hr.
NovaCare Odenton is seeking an occupational therapist to join us in providing quality outpatient orthopedic and neuro patient care. We are passionate about creating an exceptional patient experience and helping all of our patients get back to athletics, work, life, and the things they love.
Additional coverage may extend into our Anne Arundel, PG County and Howard County outpatient centers if you are interested in additional hours. An ideal OT has previous experience in outpatient orthopedics, neuro and upper extremity. CHT is not required for this opportunity. We have a large clinical team in Odenton offering a variety of OP services such as; neuro, vestibular, concussion, amputee, oncology, lymphedema, pelvic health, pediatrics, industrial (FCEs and POETs) and fall prevention on top of general ortho.

Schedule Notes: We can be flexible on the days and hours based on your availability and the needs of our patients.
Evenings until 7pm are our busiest time and greatest coverage request.
Benefits and Incentives: We can discuss your participation in our CEU accrediting courses as they arise. Additional hours as a per diem (PRN) as needed basis may be available post and could lead into steady hours.

Responsibilities Best Practices: Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).Build Relationships: Enhance, develop and expand relationships with referral sources and maintain a positive level of interaction with centers and patients.Collaborative Approach: Develop objective patient goals and establish the type, frequency and duration of occupational therapy in collaboration with the referring physician.High Standard of Care: Understand appropriate state Practice Act and adhere to the laws that govern how OTs may practice and whom they may supervise.Innovative Opportunities: Participate in the design and implementation of new programs or procedures with the approval of the manager and referring physicians per HIPPA guidelines.Leadership: Supervise and delegate occupational therapy care for each patient within the guidelines of state rules and federal regulations.Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs and demonstrate completion of patient care responsibilities and documentation requirements in an appropriate and timely manner.
