Starting Salary Range: * $65/hr

We are seeking a OT or PT to support our Adult Day Program. Reporting to the Executive Director of Adult Services, this role will support Laradon’s mission by w orking collaboratively with staff, guardians and providers to coordinate and oversee the specialized needs of the individuals served in Laradon's Adult Day Program to ensure efficient and prompt health care services are provided.
No day is ever alike but you can generally look forward to the following responsibilities:
+ Write and/or Review Transfer/Lifting Health Care Plans regularly
+ Quarterly wheelchair check
+ Hoyer lift training for new staff
+ Annual check in/retraining for current staff
+ As Laradon is a small employer and employees work in a collaborative, team environment, employee must be physically present in the office to perform his/her job functions.
+ Other duties as assigned.

We believe in providing continuing education and development opportunities for our employees. To start you off right in your position, we may need you to complete some mandatory orientation classes.

+ Currently certified as an OT/PT
+ Knowledge of and experience with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred.
+ Valid Colorado driving license, good driving record and reliable transportation.
+ Good customer service and people skills.
+ Physical requirements include the ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force; physical condition to enable walking, standing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling; stamina to be on feet and active for full work days; ability to speak or exchange information in an audible manner.
