Education & Certification: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy. Degree Requirements: Bachelor's degree required if graduated before January 1, 2002. Master’s degree required if graduated after January 1, 2002. International candidates must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy; a Master’s degree is preferred. Must hold or be eligible for an Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice (to be obtained within the first 90 days of employment). CPR certification required within the first 90 days of employment. Must maintain all certifications and licensure per expiration dates. American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) membership preferred. Experience & Skills: Previous work experience preferred but not required, aside from clinical training within an educational program. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and assist with 100 pounds of shared lifting. Must be willing to work at other locations as assigned. Additional Requirements: If assigned to drive a company vehicle, a valid driver's license is required. If driving a personal vehicle, proof of insurance is required in addition to a valid driver’s license.
