Responsibilities
Providence Medical Center (PMC) is looking for a per diem Occupational Therapist (OT) to be a part of our growing Inpatient Acute Care team. As our new Occupational Therapist (OT), you will:
our therapists see a variety of patient diagnoses that include orthopedic, neurologic and lymphedemaprovide prescribed consultative and therapeutic services in order to restore function and prevent disability for clients or patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular and cardiopulmonary disordersfunction according to professional practice as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care teamtherapy for occupations, performance patterns, performance skills, environment and contextperform responsibilities in accordance with department and hospital policies, state, federal and regulatory requirements: Title 22 Section 70517, 70519availability to help cover our acute hospital patient caseloadOccupational Therapist (OT) to who can cover one 8 hour shift on Saturday and one 4 hour shift on Sunday (1 - 2 weekend days per month): days do not have to be on the same weekend, and able to participate in a holiday rotation schedule
weekday hours are also available
one year of inpatient hospital experience is preferred
