Occupational Therapist (OTR)- Graybirch, Per Diem
Job Description Summary: We are looking for a motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered care on a per diem basis. This role is ideal for individuals who want flexibility in their schedule while still having the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives. You will be responsible for assessing and treating patients, helping them regain their independence and improve their quality of life. Key Responsibilities: + Assess patients’ abilities to perform daily living activities and develop personalized therapy plans. + Provide evidence-based interventions to promote independence, mobility, and overall function. + Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best care for patients. + Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and adaptive equipment. + Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Qualifications: + Maine State Occupational Therapy License (Required) + National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification (Preferred) + Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification (Preferred) + Previous experience in a rehabilitation or skilled nursing setting (Preferred) + Strong interpersonal and communication skills + Ability to thrive in a dynamic, patient-focused environment Scheduled Weekly Hours: 0 Work Shift: Job Exempt: No Benefits: Supporting all aspects of our employees’ wellness – physical, emotional and financial – is a critical component of being a great place to work.
