Occupational Therapist (OTR)- Graybirch, Per Diem
Job Description Summary: We are looking for a motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered care on a per diem basis. This role is ideal for individuals who want flexibility in their schedule while still having the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives. You will be responsible for assessing and treating patients, helping them regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess patients’ abilities to perform daily living activities and develop personalized therapy plans.Provide evidence-based interventions to promote independence, mobility, and overall function.Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best care for patients.Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and adaptive equipment.Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Qualifications:

Maine State Occupational Therapy License (Required)National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification (Preferred)Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification (Preferred)Previous experience in a rehabilitation or skilled nursing setting (Preferred)Strong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to thrive in a dynamic, patient-focused environment
