Occupational Therapist -Pediatric Outpatient and Adult Acute Care


Plans and conducts individualized occupational therapy programs to help patients develop, regain, or maintain their ability to perform daily activities.


•    Teaches patients skills/techniques and how to use adaptive equipment for participating in activities

•    Studies, evaluates, and records patients' activities and progress

•    Performs a variety of tasks

•    A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required

•    Typically reports to a manager

•    Performs other related duties as assigned

•    Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field

•    Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

•    Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function

•    Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned

 

Full Time - Day Shift - 80 Hours Per Pay period - M-F Shifts

-In addition to seeing Pediatric patients in an outpatient setting, this Occupational Therapist will also have Inpatient shifts with adult patients in an acute care setting.

Requirements and Minimum Qualifications

•    Graduate of a nationally accredited school of occupational therapy required

•    Current Occupational Therapy License in the State of Idaho required

 

Working Conditions

•    Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs 

•    Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position 

•    Typical equipment used in a clinical job
