Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking an Occupational Therapist PRN to join the inpatient team.  The Occupational Therapist provides quality, comprehensive, patient-centered occupational therapy services including patient examination (ages 12+), development and administration of a treatment plan, documentation and communication with team members, and clinical direction and supervision to licensed/non-licensed personnel. Instructs therapy support staff, students, other team members, and patient and/or caregivers. May rotate through clinical areas.

Qualifications and Skills

Experience in an inpatient rehab setting preferred.

 Education/Certifications

Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program required. Master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited occupational therapy program and/or a specialty practice certification preferred. Virginia licensure to practice or eligibility and application for licensure by the Occupational Therapy Board of the Virginia State Board of Health Professions required. Healthcare professionals CPR certification required.
