Job Description:This position provides therapy services to patients of all ages, including evaluation and assessment, treatment, education, and consultation to improve patients’ abilities to their highest possible level. This position provides services as part of a care team assembled to assure optimal clinical and financial outcomes, under the direction of Essentia Health management and the referring physician.

Education Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:​

Provides therapy evaluation, treatment planning, treatment, patient/caregiver education, and discharge planning for a full caseload of patientsProvides all ancillary/administrative requirements for a full caseload of patients, including documentation, billing, scheduling management, and other administrative dutiesDemonstrates appropriate communication, professionalism and supervision of support staff (licensed assistants, aides, volunteers) and complies with all organization policies.   Complies with organization code of conductMeets professional organization core values, code of ethics, &/or scope of practiceWork where the patient need is highest (including flexing to other departments) when home department schedule allowsWeekend requirements: 4 (or more) weekends per yearWill primarily treat  adult – all ages; general medical, neurological conditions, orthopedic injury/surgeryThe ideal candidate has a history of inpatient or post-acute rehab (preferred but not a prerequisite), schedule flexibility, willingness to work weekends

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from accredited program
