expertise and new treatment options their patients require they turn to usOverviewUnder the clinical supervision of an Occupational Therapist the Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant administers Occupational Therapy treatments to patients Provides assistance to the Occupational Therapist by supplying objective measures to be utilized by the Occupational Therapist in evaluation of patientrsquos level of function and determination of treatment strategies Responsibilitiesmiddot Provides physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapistmiddot Performs therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient populationmiddot Documents treatment interventionsmiddot May coordinate activities of rehab aides students and other support personnelmiddot Communicatesdocuments information relevant to patient care to ensure effective efficient delivery of quality service and maximum reimbursement for servicesmiddot
