Responsibilities Provides therapy treatment under the direct supervision of licensed therapist, including modalities, exercise programs, group treatment programs, etc. Communicates with therapist regarding patient care, patient needs, reactions to treatment, etc. Processes necessary paperwork for assigned area. Maintains records and files as required. Provides non-clinical support services to the therapist to include but not limited to maintaining patient treatment areas Responsible for completing basic therapy competencies in addition to departmental specific competencies. Takes ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested. Communicates and listens effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understands instructions and shares knowledge. Cooperates and interacts with supervisors, peers, other departments, & all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to “service”. Qualifications Job Requirements: HS Diploma or GED equivalent CPR Certified Preferred Job Requirements: Graduate of a certified physical therapy technician program or comparable experience One (1) year experience in hospital, rehabilitation or outpatient setting as a therapy technician
