Job Description Summary
We are looking for a skilled Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Senior engineer to join our team. As an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Senior Associate, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the infrastructure and services in Oracle's cloud platform. You will work on various aspects of OCI, including networking, storage, compute, security, and other related technologies. Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing scalable and reliable solutions that meet the needs of customers.

Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and maintain Oracle Cloud Infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements and business objectives.Collaborate with architects, developers, and other stakeholders to design OCI architecture that aligns with best practices and organizational goals.Implement automation and orchestration techniques to streamline provisioning, configuration, and management of OCI resources.Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and cost of OCI services, ensuring efficient resource utilization.Implement security controls and best practices to protect OCI environments from security threats and vulnerabilities.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OCI infrastructure components, including Compute, Networking, Storage, and Database services.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and cloud computing technologies.Implement and manage networking, security, and identity and access management (IAM) configurations within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.Document technical designs, configurations, and procedures for future reference

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.Extensive experience designing, implementing, and managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure solutions. Strong understanding of OCI services, including Compute, Networking, Storage, and Database.Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and automation using Ansible. Basic knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture. Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and load balancing.Understanding of security principles and best practices in the OCI cloud environments.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Relevant certifications for OCI like associate or professional certification.
