Summary:
Vighter LLC is seeking an Office of the Chief Medical Officer (OCMO) Support Specialist in San Antonio, TX. The OCMO Support Specialist provides administrative, operational and project-based support to the Office of the Chief Medical Officer (OCMO). This role ensures seamless coordination and communication across teams, assists with critical health initiatives, and contributes to maintaining high standards of healthcare delivery. The specialist is instrumental in supporting the CMO and associated medical leadership in achieving organizational goals.
Principle Accountabilities:
Manage schedules, meetings, and travel arrangements for the Chief Medical Officer and senior medical staff. Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and track follow-up actions. Maintain confidential files and records, ensuring compliance with organizational policies. Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of medical and healthcare-related projects. Track project milestones, timelines, and deliverables. Compile and analyze data for reports and presentations. Draft correspondence, memos, and other communications on behalf of the CMO. Ensure timely communication and resolution of issues within the department. Assist with the preparation and review of contracts, agreements, and other documents. Perform other duties as assigned by the CMO or leadership team.Knowledge and Skills:
Must have exceptional customer service skills. Employees shall be technically proficient in the skills necessary to fulfill the job requirements, including ability to speak, understand, read and write English fluently.Education:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in administrative or healthcare support roles. Customer-oriented attitude. Familiarity with healthcare operations, clinical settings, or project management is a plus. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Duty Hours / On-call Requirements:
Generally speaking, the corporate office is open 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; however, during times of rapid mobilization, hours may be extended to include nights and weekends. Generally speaking, locations supporting the CBP-ICE mission set are open and active 24/7/365, to include days, nights, weekends and all holidays. As required to satisfy the contractual obligations. Generally, travel is limited to commute from residence to the worksite. Commute is non-compensatory. All official travel is government-funded.Benefits:

Must be able to sit for more than 8 hours per day. Must be willing to work overtime if necessary. Must be able, with advance notice to float to surgical sites within 15 miles. Must be able to routinely grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbows/knees and reach above and below shoulders. Must be able to read and interpret handwritten and typewritten print. Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear. Must be able to perform duties in an indoor or outdoor environment Must be able to pass a criminal background investigation Must undergo Urine Drug Screening (UDS).
