The OCS Superintendent is responsible for all field activities associated with the OCS infrastructure, including ultimate responsibility for implementation of Safety/Zero Harm program for the jobsite, supervision of all field construction night work by subcontractors and self-performed work. You will work on transit / rail projects that could consist of state of good repair, system modernization or resilience, interlocking improvements, new services or line extensions.

Responsible for the ensuring the safe performance of OCS constructionAssist in development of project work plans and work schedule of night crewsProvide technical guidance in construction standards and proceduresProvide direction in project execution and construction activitiesAppropriately resolve project related disputes with craft personnelReports issues to the General Superintendent and/or designated staff regarding construction performance, workload status, potential legal issues and potential opportunitiesPlan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operationsMaintain positive personal contact and relationships with management, staff, craft and the local unionsEnsures that all activities are consistent with project plans, policies and proceduresSupervise craft personnel in various areas of responsibilityManage performance expectations of craft personnelProvide advice, guidance, and direction to field engineers and craft personnelBasic Qualifications
7 years of OCS construction experience working on rail electrification projects; including but not limited to: prefabrication of OCS materials, installation of main steel, grounding and bounding, wiring installation activities (ATF, SW, MW, CW and Head Span), in-line insulation, disconnect switches, regulation, testing and commissioning5 years of experience running and managing multiple OCS crews on electrification rail projects including planning and implementing work schedulesDemonstrated ability to evaluate employees and deployment of field resources on projects of various size and complexity as project demandsDemonstrates proficiency using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools, such as email, internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office, Outlook)Alignment to Clark Standards of Excellence: Self-Motivated, Results Oriented, Adaptable, Team Player, Accountable, Ethical, Innovative, Resilient, Builds RelationshipsC3M Power Systems
