The Cloud Architect role within Oracle Consulting Tech (OCS Tech) offers an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to work with the class-leading Oracle Cloud. You will work with customers to design their cloud architecture, ensuring that their requirements for security, high-availability and disaster recovery are met. You will be involved in the hands-on provisioning of cloud environments and provide assistance to customers migrating their workloads and applications. You will be at the forefront of strategic cloud technology and business modernization discussions. As a Cloud Architect, you will be part of our Cloud Integration team in Israel.
What you’ll do:
OCS Tech team is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting infrastructure cloud solutions leveraging the latest versions of Oracle IaaS and PaaS services and Oracle on-premises hardware and software.
In your role, as a Cloud Platform Architect you will:
Work on client-billable and pre-sales assignments to architect the customer specific cloud infrastructure. Work with Oracle Consulting sales and delivery colleagues to position and deliver the right technology and consulting services to maximize customer’s success in the most effective and efficient manner. Develop and implement secure cloud architecture solutions in alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices. Guide business stakeholders through workshops and help them defining solutions that meet their objectives – be the advocate for their business and technology needs. Lead our customers through all phases of the project lifecycle. Help us become the number one cloud company in the world through your enthusiasm, knowledge, and customer-centricity.We you’ll bring:
A deep passion for technology, for learning new things and helping customers succeed. Strong critical thinking and communication skills. A proven track record of success developing and deploying creative technical infrastructure solutions to business problems for or within large enterprise organizations. In-depth understanding of cloud security principles, technologies, and best practices. Proven experience in designing, implementing, and securing cloud environments (e.g. OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with security assessment tools, vulnerability management, and penetration testing methodologies. Knowledge of SDLC and IT frameworks like DevOps and Agile. Experience with infrastructure architectural design: compute, storage and network design concepts, System Security posture, hypervisors; high availability and disaster recovery, and application containers. Operations experience, reporting, management & compliance, capacity planning, virtualization, provisioning automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Docker etc. Certification for OCI at Architect Associate/Professional level are appreciated. Certification for AWS or Azure certifications are advantages. Knowledge of Oracle Technology like WebLogic, Oracle Service Bus, Oracle Database and/or Applications like E-Business Suite, Peoplesoft, JD-Edwards, or Siebel is appreciated.
