We provide our global teams with the resources needed to achieve individual career goals while helping to take science a step beyond by developing solutions for some of the world’s toughest challenges, like protecting the environment, making sure our food is safe or helping find cures for cancer. **Location/Division Specific Information** Fair Lawn, NJ – Laboratory Chemicals Division (LCD). **Discover Impactful Work:** The OEM Buyer/Planner II reports to the Manager, Supply Chain and will make an impact by performing various purchasing assignments to procure supplies, raw materials, finished goods, and equipment vital for the operation of the organization, based on MRP or actual customer orders. Following established procedures, practices, and policies to contact vendors, acquire quotations, calculate order points and quantities, place purchase orders, and expediting and supervising delivery of the corresponding material under minimal direction. **A Day in the Life:** + Assurance of Supply – right products, right time, in the right place. + Maintain Procurement Master Data in the respective ERP system + Supplier Management (Scorecard Review). + Monitor and implement improvements to inventory health. + Collaborate with the National Distribution Center Inventory Team to ensure deliveries are received in a timely manner. + Resolve end-to-end supply disruptions. + Collaborate with Accounts Payable to prevent financial delays + Purchase order execution and maintenance. + Take charge on proactive measures to continuously improve the procurement processes. + Maintain master data – lead-time, pricing, MOQ’s (lead), safety stock (min/max). + Work with Technical Sourcing on supplier related quality issues. + Adopt and bring to bear the Procurement Toolbo. **Keys to Success:** **Education** + Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, or other related discipline preferred. + High school diploma or equivalent required. + CPIM or CSCP certification preferred. **Experience** + Minimum 3 years experience in a Procurement/ Sourcing role required. Preferably within a manufacturing environment. + Planning experience is highly preferred. + Requires experience in MRP/ERP systems, PowerBI. + Experienced in supplier consolidation and product transfer initiatives and managing contact manufacturers highly preferred. + Experience in Global Procurement preferred. **Knowledge, Skills, Abilities** + Knowledgeable of basic technical understanding of how to interpret drawings /specifications. + Advanced skills in Excel. + Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. + Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and work in teams including client services, technical, planning, and financial disciplines. + Excellent analytical and organizational skills. **Benefits** We offer competitive remuneration, annual incentive plan bonus scheme, healthcare, and a range of employee benefits!
