Job Description

"I'm accountable for driving the value maximization for our customers by prioritizing the work content of the Squad and ensuring we do 'the right thing'".

Tasks & Accountabilities

As entrepreneur

Commercially accountable for the entire product life cycle.Represent the customer and maximize the business value of the product, while considering costs and benefit.Set and own quarterly Squad objectives and key results.

As strategist

Contribute with Squad mission to overall Tribe mission.Define sprint goal, ensure clear definition of user stories.Create and prioritize product backlog based on customer needs, economic considerations and risks.Identify and resolve dependencies with other Squads.Support the Squad to deliver commitments and approve completion of user stories.

As communicator

Develop and communicate the product vision.Ensure the product backlog is aligned and understood withing and outside the Squad.Continuously work with own Tribe Lead, customers and other stakeholders to identify expectations towards the product.Nourish and develop collaboration between the Squad and its customers.Drive collaboration and synchronization with other relevant teams.Actively promote and drive agile ways of working.

Experience & Know-How

>1 years of leadership experience (e.g., project management, line management, etc.) in the IT or software industry (comprising a focus on technology and business, preferably with cross-functional teams).Profound understanding of the customers as well as know-how of the relevant technology and market.Proficient in requirements management.Solid understanding of the technical basis of the respective product.Best practices and tooling know-how for planning and estimation of work packages.Work experience with agile methodologies in the context of software development of digital business.

Tasks and Responsibilities focused in project

Review and provide further details on incoming requests from a technical perspective with the service owner, developer, and interface owner. Equal distribution of workload among developers.Responsible for coordinating development activities throughout the process between the Service Owner, Developer, Test Lead, Tester, and Technical Lead. Invites meetings and directs communication to the Service Owner in case of Plan Updates or Changes.He/she is responsible for request to update the T&R tickets assigned to his/her area of ​​responsibility, adjusts sprint plannings in case the Service Owner rejects the proposed plan and formally requests test cases and test data from the Service Owner and assists the Service Owner and Test Lead with test case definition to ensure understanding of business purpose and end-to-end test cases.Responsible for making releases between non-production environments and responsible for communicating with the client and closing the ticket once the T&R has been completed.
