Role
The Off-Net Solutions Specialist will be responsible for administrating the post-sales process of sourcing, ordering, tracking and reconciling records for all lit and dark circuits. This includes activations, moves, upgrades, changes and disconnects. As a key member of Crown Castle’s Off-Net Solutions team, this person will act as a liaison between Crown Castle’s Type II providers and Crown Castle Service Delivery teams to drive on time service order completion while controlling costs and provide a level of service which meets or exceeds customer and other Crown Castle department expectations while.
Responsibilities
Act as a point of contact for Type II providers’ account teams driving on-time performance, cost savings and effective relationships with all providers. Submit and manage orders through completion for Type II Lit and Dark services escalating when necessary to ensure committed dates are met. Communicate all orders statuses to internal Project Managers and other internal stakeholders to maintain on time delivery to Crown Castle customers. Resolve and/or escalate vendor issues in a timely fashion engaging management when appropriate. Ensure order details and documents are accurately recorded and stored for future reference by all Crown Castle departments. Place and manage vendor orders for customer and internal Lit, Dark, Cross Connects installs and disconnects. Review Service Orders and Work Orders received via CRM and attend Kick-Off meetings with Project Management, Sales and other internal departments as necessary. Work with Sales Engineers to ensure any diversity or specific provisioning requirements are met when specific requirements are noted during the Cost Request process and/or within Deal Sheet. Manage Help Desk and NOC tickets requesting ONS assistance for issues outside of the Service and Work order processes. Work with Provisioning to secure accurate CFA and any special requirements needed for delivery. Place and follow up orders with vendors for FOC, DLR, LOA and on-time delivery, escalating as necessary. Create Records in CRM and NetCracker to accurately document the Type II service sourced. Manage records accuracy and cost savings through invoice audits, internal systems reconciliation and team collaboration. Review and process disconnects for internal Lit, Dark, Cross Connects requests in a timely manner. Manage vendor Early Termination Liability ensuring exposure is minimized for cost management. Participate in Vendor Meetings when needed.Education/Certifications

5+ years telecommunications operations management Experience with Cross Connects, Lit and Dark Circuits and Data Centers Understanding of Telecommunications Networks Type II circuit provider ordering disconnect and installation, test, and turn-up procedures.Skills & Abilities
Understanding of Ethernet, Broadband, Wireless technologies Basic understanding of SONET/TDM technologies Basic understanding of OSP/ISP construction Familiarity with circuit inventory and facility management OSS applications. NetCracker Experience managing multiple vendors and resources to deliver time-sensitive projects. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequently changing priorities. Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. On Mondays and Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home. There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that could require travel.
The hiring range offered for this position is the equivalent of $48,160 - $60,200 annually. In addition to hourly compensation, employees are eligible for an annual bonus of up to 10% of annual salary. Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive 18 days of paid time off each year and 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
