Short Description:

The Office365 Administrator will serve as a technical resource responsible for supporting, planning, testing, and rollout of Microsoft Office 2013, IE 11, and Office365 hosted services – to include SkyDrive for Business, Lync, and Office for the iPad.

 

Complete Description:

The Office365 Administrator will be tasked with putting together end-user documentation on how to use the new applications and services.  Additionally, the position will assist with the rollout of the Office 2013 Suite and IE11; including technical support to trouble-shoot and diagnose issues with Office and the web browser.

 

Essential Responsibilities

This position will be in direct support of the Department of Transportation Office 365 rollout and includes the following responsibilities:

•             rollout planning

•             composing training material

•             testing

•             end-user support

The essential responsibility of this role is to serve as an advance technical resource and be the primary point of contact for IE11 and Office 2013 issues.  As the technical point of contact, this position will work closely with developers, workstation support technicians, and software deployment teams to resolve simple to complex issues with Internet Explorer 11and Office 2013 applications.
