Office Administrator
Description Job Summary Robert Half is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to support general office operations for our client in Sycamore, IL. This is a 4-month contract opportunity with an hourly pay rate of $19.00. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating administrative tasks, maintaining office efficiency, and supporting various departments with clerical and operational needs. Key Responsibilities + Administrative Support: Perform a variety of administrative tasks such as answering phones, handling correspondence, and maintaining calendars. + Data Management: Update and maintain records, databases, and reports with high levels of accuracy and confidentiality. + Office Operations: Monitor office supplies and place orders to ensure adequate inventory. Assist with scheduling meetings, managing office equipment, and organizing files. + Communication: Act as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries and deliver exceptional customer service. + Documentation: Prepare documents, presentations, and spreadsheets as needed to support office and team operations. + Logistics Coordination: Assist in organizing events, coordinating travel arrangements, or scheduling appointments as necessary. + Problem Solving: Address and resolve minor workflow, operational, or customer challenges throughout the day. + Process Improvement: Suggest and implement procedures to enhance workplace efficiency and effectiveness. Requirements Qualifications + Education: High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree in business administration or a related field is preferred. + Experience: 1-2+ years of work experience in an administrative or office support role. + Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with office management software or databases is a plus. + Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, excellent time management, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. + Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a professional demeanor. + Attention to Detail: A focus on accuracy and a commitment to managing sensitive information confidentially.
