Responsibilities

The Office Administrator serves a support and administrative function at the manufacturing plant and office by greeting walk-in guests, answering phones, filing, and completing administrative and data entry projects. This position reports to the Plant Office and People Manager.

 

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

 

Greet customers, guests, and co-workers entering
the officeReceive and distribute phone callsCreate purchase orders in an automated purchasing system - OracleFile Management will maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information filing records or documentsOrdering and maintaining office supplies, working with vendors to secure needed supplies, and creating purchase ordersCoordinate office events, meetings, luncheons, plant tours, reservations and accommodations as requestedFollow all company procedures and policyManage incoming and outgoing UPS and Mail packagesManage and maintain office machines, cartridges, and maintenance as it occursMaintain confidentiality of all trade secrets and other company/customer information.Provide additional support to the office as neededAdhere to ADS guiding principles of honesty, professionalism, and core values.

 

Maintain and build job skills through company training programsPerform special projects and other duties assigned 

 

Job Skills:

 

This position should possess the following skills/knowledge:

Educational Requirements:

 

High School Diploma or equivalent

 

 

Preferred Experience:

 

1-2 years of office/computer experience 1-2 years of purchase order/billing experience

 

Physical Requirements:

 

Employee will be lifting heavy objects and must have the ability to lift 25 poundsEmployee will be sitting for a specified amount of time and must have the ability to sit at a minimum for 8 hours Company Benefits:
