Job Description
OFFICE AND PROGRAM COORDINATOR, MIT Professional Education (PE), to coordinate and perform day-to-day operational activities for the MIT PE Office and its Educational Program teams. Will provide administrative support; perform complex duties in support of the executive director and director of finance, administration, and HR; and provide support for multiple programs and projects within PE. Responsibilities will include overseeing the work of the front desk and overall office administration; providing program support for all PE programs as needed, including program delivery logistics; collecting materials and assuring their timely distribution; assisting with expenditure budgets; negotiating contracts with vendors from catering to audiovisual services and printing of materials; generating specialized reports; participating in cross-functional project teams as needed; and planning and coordinating PE special events.
