Office Assistant
Job Description

Pay: $25 - $30 / hr

VerCap is a family office founded in 2021. The firm invests across a wide range of industries, targeting both private and public investments.

We are looking for an Office Assistant that will be responsible for greeting and welcoming guests, answering phone calls and generally assisting the office as needed. In addition, this role will act as the personal assistant to the Chief Investment Officer.

In long, our Office Assistants are responsible for:

Greet and seat in person meetings and assist with parking validation for office guests.

Answer incoming calls and direct as needed.

Liaise with the building; set up access with security for in person meetings, report any building related issues in office and on floor, etc.

Regularly check mail, receive incoming packages, and assist with any outgoing mail for the office.

Handle ordering and stocking snacks and supplies for office.

Assist with planning quarterly office events and office celebrations.

Personal assistant duties to the CIO, include ordering and picking up meals, taking vehicles in for inspection, and additional miscellaneous errands as assigned.

Organization and time management skills in spades. You’ll be handling multiple projects and deadlines that will require you to prioritize then re-prioritize then re-prioritize again.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to talk and write with confidence, charisma and competence for a wide variety of audiences including management.

A mind for the details. Okay we know "detail-oriented" is on about every job description - but we really mean it!

The Specifics.

At least 1 year administrative experience in an office setting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe required.

Able to problem solve with attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work with others in a collaborative cohesive manner.
