Office Assistant
Description We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for an Office Assistant in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will be integral to the smooth operation of our team, responsible for scheduling, customer service, and data management tasks. Responsibilities: • Managing the scheduling of appointments and meetings for technicians and team members • Answering calls, directing them appropriately, and providing excellent customer service • Handling email correspondence and promptly responding to inquiries • Conducting data entry tasks using MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook • Keeping track of customers and maintaining accurate records • Demonstrating professional phone etiquette and communication skills • Ensuring punctuality and maintaining a consistent presence onsite • Coordinating team schedules and making necessary adjustments • Utilizing scheduling tools for efficient calendar management • Assuring attention to detail in all tasks and communications. Requirements • Minimum of two years' experience in an office assistant role or similar administrative position • Proficiency in scheduling tasks such as organizing daily schedules, coordinating team schedules, scheduling appointments, making schedule changes, and managing scheduled appointments • Demonstrated competence in job scheduling and work scheduling • Proven ability to manage calendar appointments efficiently, including scheduling meetings • Experience and proficiency in data entry tasks • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word • Excellent phone etiquette with experience in answering multi-line phone systems, directing phone calls, handling inbound telephone calls, and phone inquiries • Experience in managing phone operations and maintaining a pleasant phone manner • Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and switchboard operations • Ability to provide telephone support • Excellent written communication skills, with a focus on email correspondence • Ability to work in a team environment and coordinate team scheduling • Must have a professional demeanor and be able to maintain confidentiality • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
