D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an Office Assistant. The right candidate will maintain responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the office. Perform administrative functions, such as answering phones, greeting guests, signing for packages, and provide administrative support to the division.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Maintain responsibility for reception and telephone duties, including sorting/distributing mail and signing for packagesTroubleshoot any problems with office machinery. Call for maintenance if necessaryAct as liaison to property management and assist with scheduling office maintenanceManage meeting calendars for division conference roomsOrder and stock office suppliesMaintain office services such as coffee service, water, Office Depot, Staples, UPS, and FedEx accountsSchedule and organize activities such as meetings, travel and department activities for all members of the management teamAssist Division President by creating/developing general correspondence, spreadsheets, presentations, agendas, memos, etc., managing their schedule and updating outlook contacts/calendarsDevelop effective working relationships with all departmentsHandle confidential and non-routine informationCoordinate and arrange division dinners and events, flights, hotels, rental cars and other travel related requestsAssist with corporate-driven initiatives such as Benefits open enrollment meetings, Camp Horton, Career Fairs, Internship program and other HR eventsAssist other departments as schedule allowsConducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the companyAbility to work overtimeD.R.
