Office Assistant
Description We are seeking a flexible, detail-oriented individual to fill a Mailroom Specialist role on a contract-to-hire basis. This position requires daily travel to various locations across the Twin Cities. The Mailroom Specialist handles a broad array of mailroom operations including outgoing and incoming mail and packages, maintaining records, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities: + Driving to various locations across the Twin Cities and surrounding areas for mailroom and project related work. + Sorting incoming mail and parcels to be distributed to the correct personnel or department. + Monitoring and maintaining inventory of mailroom supplies. + Processing printing related projects + Keeping records of all mail and packages received and sent. + Ensuring that all outgoing mail and packages are correctly labelled, and postage is accurately calculated. + Providing excellent customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and requests. + Performing regular maintenance on mailroom equipment and reporting any issues. + Ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive company mail. Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications: + High School diploma or equivalent. + A valid driver's license. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Capable of standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods. + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. + Capable of maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive materials with professionalism. + Proficient in basic computer applications and mail processing equipment. + Previous mailroom or courier experience is a plus. + Ability to work independently and adhere to schedules without direct supervision.
