Office Assistant

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Part-Time Office Assistant for the Greeter/Screener Department at Hackettstown Medical Center.  Required hours are 2:00PM - 8:00PM Thursday - Saturday including weekends (as needed).

Essential Functions/Responsibilities: 

Greet and screen visitors appropriately. Provide exceptional customer service to patients, and visitors. Coordinate flower and gift deliveries to patient rooms. Round on patient in waiting areas close to information desk. Takes inventory of supplies.  May handle confidential information. Assures adherence to organizational guidelines, policies, and procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements: 

To provide a safe environment to our patients, we require that all candidates must be able to read, write and speak English. High School Diploma or GED required. Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Relevant Experience: 

1-2 years of customer service, healthcare or hospitality experience preferred. Specialized knowledge, skills and abilities may be required based on department/area assigned including one or more of the following: DX Imaging, Family Medicine, Foundation, Gift Shop, Growth House, Lab transcriptions, Pals House, Volunteer office or Women's Association preferred.
