Office Assistant
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Office Assistant in the mortgage industry, based in McLean, Virginia, 22102, United States. This role involves a variety of tasks including maintaining precise records, managing customer interactions, and ensuring smooth office operations. Responsibilities: • Welcome and professionally escort visitors to the appropriate office or conference room. • Efficiently distribute incoming mail and deliveries for prompt distribution. • Assist with the preparation of conference rooms for meetings, including the setup of group lunches when required. • Handle inquiries from staff, office visitors or guests, clients or vendors in a timely manner. • Utilize software such as Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and 'About Time' for various clerical duties. • Scan documents and send them via electronic mail promptly. • Prepare mail, Fedex, and courier packages for dispatch. • Keep track of office and kitchen supplies, restocking as necessary and assist with monitoring supply inventory. • Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently. • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Requirements • Proficiency in 'About Time' software • Exceptional ability to provide responses and solutions, aptly named 'Answer' • Experience in answering inbound calls, ensuring effective customer service • Ability to perform various clerical duties efficiently • Responsible for handling and organizing the 'Daily Mail' • Proven experience in delivering mail promptly and accurately • Proficiency in 'Direct Mail' operations and management • Ability to efficiently distribute incoming mail • Experience in restocking office supplies as needed • Proficient in Microsoft technologies • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites for various administrative tasks • Proficient in using Microsoft Outlook for email and calendar management • Experience with Adobe Acrobat for document management • Experience in conference room setup and cleanup • Ability to manage and maintain conference rooms effectively TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
