Michael Baker International is seeking an office clerk to join our Alexandria, VA office. The ideal candidate will have strong multi-tasking, organizational skills and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities include:
Mail/Bank Delivers/Pickups:
Process outgoing mail (FEMA, MBI) Delivery of Mail to Post Office (as necessary) Deposit of FEMA checks at bank Pickup packages (FedEx & UPS) at (FEMA), old MBI locations and ASLIN (old call center) Drop off FedEx/UPS at various locations (as necessary) Deliver/Pickup items at FEMA HQ (as necessary) will require badge/ID for FEMAOffice Services:
Copier/Printer/Plotter duties:
Daily/Weekly cleaning of equipment. Stocking of paper. Replacement of toner cartridges. Ordering supplies as necessary from ABC, toner/paper/waste toner containers. Calling/email for support/service of equipment. Folding documents, using equipment for these purposes.General Office duties:
Stock/Order kitchen/coffee supplies. Maintain equipment, to include minor repairs or calling for service. Maintenance of conference rooms, to include setting up for conferences and meetings, cleaning tables and resetting of rooms after meetings. Stock/Order office supplies for office. Storage rooms, organize and maintain inventories as needed, including water/soda inventories for events/conferences. Help with setup of lunch food delivery for events/conferences when receptionist is not available. Reception Desk duties: Assist with answering phones or welcoming clients and guests when receptionist is not available. Help with covering lunch for the receptionist. Fleet Vehicle duties: (Fleet approval via passing approval process to operate Fleet vehicles) Weekly submission of mileage reports for all fleet vehicles when reception is not available. Maintaining all fleet vehicles, periodic maintenance, oil changes, recalls, state inspections, vehicle registration, car washes. Transportation of employees, clients, guest to and from hotels, local metro, train and/or airports.PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
GED or High School Diploma with 3 to 6 years of related experience Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills. Experience in general office support, including organization, filing, and document library maintenance. Professional maturity and dependability. Excellent English language skills, written and verbal. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and SharePoint.COMPENSATION
The approximate compensation range for this position is $20 - $29 per hour. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
