Office Assistant
Description We are in the process of expanding our team in the service industry and have an opening for an Office Assistant in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As an Office Assistant, you will be key to the smooth operations of our busy office, handling a variety of administrative tasks, supporting our team members, and providing excellent service to our clients. Responsibilities: • Accurate and efficient processing of administrative tasks, including organizing and scheduling vendor meetings and appointments. • Actively participating in office duties like answering phone calls, greeting guests, assisting with mailing, and maintaining supply inventory. • Providing guest support including greeting, conducting tours of our space, and assisting walk-in clients. • Leading a team of student assistants/interns, providing mentorship and holding the team accountable to successful task performance. • Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors, service providers, and landlord. • Contributing to the creation and maintenance of office policies, procedures, and standards to guide the operation of the office and improve efficiencies. • Collaborating with team, landlord, and local agencies to maintain a safe and secure working environment. • Assisting with facilities management efforts including communicating with appropriate resources regarding space concerns and needed repairs. • Supporting sales and marketing with their specific client events and actively participating in the planning and execution of company events. • Managing catering orders and setting up for various events. • Developing product knowledge to assist when providing client and team member tours of the space. • Creating and maintaining procedural guidelines documents for effective management of front desk operations and for use in training students and relief personnel.
