Office Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and professional individual to join our team in downtown Chicago. Qualifications: + Minimum of 2+ years of recent administrative/receptionist experience in a professional workplace, workplace operations, or customer service/hospitality industry. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). + Reliability and professionalism are a must. + Strong communication skills. + Ability to multitask effectively. Work Environment: + Operate in a professional office environment with standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. + Work hours are Monday to Friday, either 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. + The position is fully onsite in downtown Chicago. Responsibilities: + Provide high-touch support to employees, including tools, information, and wayfinding. + Assist with uploading information into a Canva page + Uphold safety guidelines and best practices for employees and service teams. + Assess and ensure workspace readiness and safety. + Support onsite facility management and reception desk operations. + Identify and address compliance issues. + Gather and share customer feedback with leadership. + Assist cross-functional teams (Events, Security, Facilities) as needed. + Order supplies and manage facility tickets. + Coordinate with the property team and vendors for building-related issues. + Provide mailroom support and event assistance. + Implement Workplace Programs and Operations, including service tickets and new hire orientations. + Liaise with property management on building/site issues. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
