Dialogue McGill
Position Summary:
Dialogue McGill, https://www.dialoguemcgill.ca/, is a Health Canada-funded initiative based in the Ingram School of Nursing (PI: Dr. Carmen G. Loiselle). The primary objective of Dialogue McGill is to increase the capacity of bilingual health and social services professionals through: (1) language training to increase health care providers’ communication skills and retention rates, (2) human resource initiatives aimed at increasing the number of health and social service providers capable of providing services in English, and (3) conducting program evaluation and research in the aforementioned areas. Dialogue McGill’s Language Training Program is responsible for the administration of workshops to 1,650 professionals annually who are based at 30 public institutions. These language training workshops are offered 3 times a year by 30 course lecturers
Two Office Assistants are needed to support Dialogue McGill’s English Language Training Program, Anglais Santé (Dialogue McGill | Cours d'anglais). The unit is currently understaffed, and we need 2 Office Assistants to support our operations during the registration period for the program’s 2025 Spring session. Their primary responsibilities will include collecting and entering data into our established databases, verifying learners’ online placement test and registration forms and answering inquiries from learners regarding the workshops offered. Additionally, they will assist with maintaining accurate records and processing registration reports. This position is essential to our unit during specific peak times to ensure timely processing of information and efficient workflow.
Note the position may be subject to renewal upon the end of contract.

Must be willing to work efficiently in a team environment
Office-related skills an asset
