Responsibilities:
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Provide administrative support to leadership and various teams.
- Use office management software, including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Slides).
- Serve as receptionist: greet visitors, answer phones, take messages, and monitor building access.
- Prepare and distribute announcements, bulletins, and other communications.
- Sort mail, receive packages, and handle payments.
- Manage office supplies and report equipment issues.
- Maintain records and update contact information.
- Assist with facility use coordination and rental agreements.
- Process employee and volunteer paperwork.
- Ensure timely approval and payment of expenses.
- Learn financial and payroll procedures, including processing reimbursements, payroll, and tax deposits.
- Support additional tasks as requested by leadership
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Skills:
- Experience with office management software.
- Familiarity with bookkeeping, payroll, or financial tasks.
- Experience in an administrative role, especially in a nonprofit setting.
- Knowledge of general office operations and governance.
