Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Carolina Skies Club Shaw AFB, SC. Responsibilities Installs and operates the standardized Air Force computer software for the Food Trak system in conjunction with the Purchasing Agent. Installs and operates the NAF Time Management system. Operates Point of Sales computer systems to prepare daily financial statistical data in reference to cost of goods to allow management to make financial decisions. Operates word processor and/or microcomputer to prepare correspondence, reports, forms, months advisory committee minutes in final form. Prepares purchases orders, solicitations for bids, renewal contracts and/or amendments, and other related documents required for entertainment contracts and other agency agreements. Assists the manager in maintaining current data in the following: Branch Operating Instructions Employee policy letters, Financial Analysis File, DUI Programs and Training, Fire Folder, Safety Folder, Sanitation Inspection Folder, Self Assessment Book and Continuity Files. Prepares various types of reports and other statistical and financial data pertaining to the different service activities i.e., administration, Bar, Kitchen, etc. Provides information regarding activity operations to appropriate officials in the absence of the manager. Compiles and prepares Daily Financial Summary and submits to manager. Maintains suspense files, contract files, regulations, directives, etc. Posts changes to manuals and instructions as required Establishes and updates files and insures disposition of files are accomplished in accordance with Air Force Manuals. Answers telephone, takes messages, and relays information to appropriate individual. Prepares check requests. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Responsible experience and knowledge of varied and/or advanced functions of word processing/computer software to produce a wide range of office documents. Be able to read and understand software manuals to install and run programs. Have experience in responsible clerical or office work of any kind which demonstrated the ability to perform satisfactorily at the grade level of the position. Clerical experience in the type of service activity is desirable. A qualified typist (40 WPM). Successfully complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying. Additional Information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation or a signed memorandum indicating the installation's decision on the 3-year residency requirement.. Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must be registered for Selective Service. Direct deposit is required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. A probationary period may be required. Pre-employment requirements must be satisfactorily met prior to Entrance on Duty (EOD).
