Position Overview:
As an integral part of the Workplace Services (WPS) team, Day Porter ensures an excellent experience every day throughout the entire office. They will support the Snacks & Refreshments program, support in-house events and hospitality, as well as ensure overall tidiness throughout the office. This position requires good team player capabilities, a high level of service orientation, time management, and organizational skills.
Food and Refreshments Services
Oversee and maintain a clean and well-presented Snacks & Refreshments program.Prepare and present food items (e.g., wash and cut fruits/vegetables) in line with food hygiene and safety regulations.Ensure the fridge is clean and organised, removing expired items as needed.Monitor and maintain functionality of kitchen equipment and escalating issues accordingly.Stock shelves with glasses, cups, and utensils; restock cutlery and crockery as required.Manage inventory and refi lls for daily Snack & Refreshments operations.Monitor consumption trends, gather feedback to align with employee preferences, and collaborate with the WPS team toensure sustainable, high-quality products are sourced and waste is minimised.Organise deliveries, maintain stock lists, and ensure clean and tidy storage areas.Coordinate with the WPS team on resource use, replenishment lists, and orders.Manage catering delivery, presentation, and preparation for in-house events.Supervise third-party suppliers providing food services in the office.Office Services
Maintain stock and organisation of office supplies and bathroom amenities.Keep the office tidy and presentable during working hours.Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and appropriately stored.Coordinate with the janitorial team for waste disposal in compliance with local regulations.Keep the printing area and back offi ce stocked and organised.Maintain the offi ce capacity tracker and ensure timely communications during capacity thresholds.Perform proactive checks on fi rst-aid kits and ensure replenishment on items as needed.Conduct regular walkthrough to ensure daily set up and workplace readiness.Keep the reception and guest waiting area neat and presentable.Meeting Rooms
Ensure meeting rooms are clean, tidy, and stocked with required supplies.Prepare customer-facing rooms for external meetings, ensuring all standards are met.Set up and clear catering for meetings when pre-booked.Arrange any special room setups or event space arrangements.Inspect AV equipment and furniture, reporting issues to IT or WPS management.Maintain and organise whiteboards, replacing markers and arranging furniture as needed.Communication
Maintain daily communication with the WPS team to ensure smooth operations and communicate proactively on the relevant channels.Stay up-to-date with the daily schedule and remain adaptable to any changes.Report any service issues, employee’s feedback or complaints to the team.Liaise with sub-contractors and vendors as required for operational support.Qualifications and Required Skills
2-3 years in a customer-facing role, preferably in corporate or hospitality settings.Able to communicate fluently in German. English is a significant advantages.Strong collaboration, communication, and professional manner.Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.About JLL –
