Transdev in Merced, CA is hiring an administrative assistant/clerical assistant to perform all administrative duties and payroll processing for the YARTS (Yosemite Area Regional Transportation System) We are seeking a customer service-oriented professional with experience in payroll who is dedicated to safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

Creating new employee and driver files as needed.

Prepare contract correspondence and management reports.

Create and add employee schedules into payroll system.

Data entry of payroll and accounting data.

Answer dispatch phone as needed.

Assist with fare deposits.

Load per diem cards when needed.

Track attendance.

Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or equivalent

Office, data entry and or administrative experience

Excel experience required

Experience with payroll processing preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Time management and organizational skills required.

Employees in this position are generally subjected to long periods of sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.  The work environment is indoors.
