Office Consolidation Project Manager
Join a top employer and advance your career. Aplin has partnered with a central Calgary-based healthcare organization to hire an experienced Project Manager to support a critical office consolidation.  

About the Project: This organization is in the process of merging four physical locations, including two medical clinics and one main administrative and health care services office, into a single, centralized location. The plan is well underway, and the organization requires a seasoned Project Manager for a five-month contract (potential for extension) to accelerate progress and ensure that all elements are aligned for a successful transition.

The successful candidate must have experience managing a large office consolidation/move/renovation project in the healthcare space. 

Responsibilities:
Take over the management and oversight of the ongoing consolidation project, ensuring that all phases are completed on time and within scope.Collaborate closely with the Director of HR, clinic directors, the MIT team, and other key stakeholders to maintain alignment and address any challenges that arise.Monitor the construction progress and coordinate the phased move-in process, beginning with the first group in January 2025.Lead virtual meetings across all four locations.Address and resolve any scope, timeline, or resource challenges to keep the project on track.Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to clinic operations and relocations.Qualifications:
Experience: Demonstrated success in managing the consolidation of multiple clinics or administrative offices into a centralized location, particularly in the healthcare sector.Certifications: PMP certification is preferred but not mandatory; proven experience is required.Skills: Strong project management abilities, including scope management, timeline acceleration, and team leadership.Attributes: Proactive, independent, and able to handle stress and tight deadlines with ease. Quick to adapt and able to contribute immediately to an ongoing project.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively coordinate with various stakeholders.
