Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center Department: Nuclear Imaging Position is located: Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center Work Type: Full Time Hours Per Week: 40.00 Work Schedule: Variable Summary: Perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to callers. Responsibilities: • Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen, or forward calls, providing information, taking messages, or scheduling appointments. • Greet persons entering establishment, determine nature and purpose of visit. • Direct, Escort, and provide visitor passes as appropriate. • Hear and resolve complaints from customers or the public, and escalates to appropriate individual(s) as necessary • Schedule appointments and maintain and updated appointment calendars. • Set up and manage paper or electronic filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork, or maintaining documents, such as attendance records, correspondence, or other material. • Maintain a safe environment complying with NLH policies and procedures; report and directly address environmental hazards and violations of patient safety policy and/or protocol when involved or observed. • May perform other duties upon request.
