OFFICE COORDINATOR II COMMUNITY PSYCHIATRY
Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Office Coordinator II to join our Community Psychiatry team in Baltimore. In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily administrative operations, coordinating patient scheduling, and ensuring smooth office functionality while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and confidentiality.

Manage and coordinate daily office operations for the Community Psychiatry departmentSchedule and coordinate patient appointments, maintaining an efficient calendar systemProcess and maintain accurate patient records and medical documentationServe as the primary point of contact for patients, healthcare providers, and staffCoordinate communication between medical staff, patients, and other healthcare facilitiesHandle sensitive patient information while ensuring HIPAA complianceManage office supplies and maintain inventoryProcess incoming referrals and coordinate patient intake proceduresAssist with insurance verification and basic billing inquiriesGenerate and maintain various administrative reportsSupport medical staff with administrative tasks as neededCompany Description

QualificationsHigh school diploma required; Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred2-3 years of experience in medical office coordination, preferably in a psychiatric or healthcare settingProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health records (EHR) systemsStrong knowledge of medical office procedures and healthcare compliance regulationsDemonstrated experience with scheduling software and medical office management systemsExcellent organizational and multi-tasking abilitiesStrong verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirementsFamiliarity with medical terminologyProven ability to handle sensitive information with discretionDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving skillsExperience in managing administrative documentation and record-keepingAdditional Information
