Office Engineer
​ Responsibilities + Review daily work reports, RFIs, and quality/material acceptance documents for compliance with contract documents + Prepare non-conformance reports + Perform/Observe on-site material testing + Review or prepare materials testing validation reports + Prepare reports and tracking/analysis spreadsheets + Prepare meeting agendas and minutes + Prepare drafts of official correspondence and presentations + Audit Design-Builder’s project records (materials/quality) to monitor compliance + Analyze, summarize and organize data from audit, verification and oversight activities + Perform material/quantity take offs + Assist with Project close-out and acceptance + Support Project staff with management of disputes and potential claims + Interpret and explain plans and contract terms, as necessary + Additional project administration responsibilities, as necessary Required Skills/Experience + Six to Eight years construction inspection or administration experience + BS in Engineering or Construction Management + NYSDOT or NYSTA experience with construction project closeout preferred + Previous design-build experience, preferred + Proficient with Microsoft Office + Basic understanding of CPM/Construction Scheduling
